Portfolio of Works

I love walking through the woods searching for a fleeting glimpse of nature that have a little something extra, what I call a purple leaf or inspiration, for my natural still life colored pencil artworks. I am fascinated by natural objects, composed by nature, time and conditions, that reveal this uniquely beautiful but seldom seen natural world. Nature does not stand still but I capture special moments of beauty, of absolute wonder, and serenity of nature in my still life artworks.

Walking or hiking, I search daily for 'a purple leaf' or the inspiration behind my colored pencil still life artworks of natural serenity. Nature is everywhere at all times even on a morning walk through a town or city. This collection has the same theme derived from my life long continuous hikes through forests and woodlands but with a neighborhood and backyard setting.
