Rain Delay

The large green leaves of the hearty shade loving hosta compliments any summer garden. The leaves can also provide a brief shelter for the smaller creatures of summer. I love the composition of the heart shaped green leaves of hosta with the nuance of surface grades exposed and emphasized by the rain and light. The butterfly agreed.
