Tree roots decaying on the bank of a pond serve as landing pockets for this year's colorful fallen leaves both in and out of the water. These organic lines weave a pathway of textures, shapes, and autumn colors to connect with the colorful swirls of the abstract water. If I could combine everything that inspires my artwork in one image, this would be it.
